BMW's X5 35d Diesel burning Sport Activity Vehicle has been out proving that there are good options to its gas guzzing siblings.   This has really been a good add for BMW to the X5 line.  There of course is the high HP 555 HP M, the 4.8 V8, and the 260 hp 3.0.   None can compare to the diesels 26 mpg highway mileage.   Hopefully folks will continue to embrace the fine german diesel cars, which will encourage not only BMW, but all the german manufacturers to bring us more of these clean running fuel efficient cars.
