Ever since Audi came out with the R8, it has been an evolvment and a balance between pure sports car performance, and cruiser for long distant trips.  The R8 which spurned from the infusion of Lamborghini technology from their acquisition by VAG, has been a marvel, rivaling the Lambos in performance, but where the Lambo's make no apologies for their performance over comfort attitude, the R8 works to deliver the performance, without sacrificing the comfort. Dan Carney's assessment is spot on, where Audi just dialed back the performance from 11 to a 9.5 :)   Parts like the Audi Mass Air Flow Sensor keep the car running flawlessly, while the creature comforts are delivered by the Audi Blower Motor.
